Hometown girl Angelica Chavez (4-0) faces Denver’s Diana Rael (2-1; pictured above) in Albuquerque Aug. 13.
Chavez has yet to see the third found, finishing all four of her pro opponents with submissions. In her last fight, Chavez defeated Jenn “Ice” Berg via guillotine choke in the first round.
Rael is coming off a loss to Lacey Schukman, but had two TKO victories coming into this fight.
The match will be apart of the loaded MMA Fight Pit’s Genesis pay-per-view card, which is $29.95. Tickets are also available at the University of New Mexico box office or online for $34-54.
