Correia maintains that Rousey never had the mentality of a fighter and that the loss to Holm illustrated just that:
“Unfortunately, I didn’t get the win when I face Ronda so I could show everyone that I was telling the truth,” Correia said to MMAMania of her one-time foe. “I always said Ronda didn’t have a strong psychological side and the proof to that is that she’s been missing ever since she lost. Nobody knows what is going on with her. I don’t know how she is or what her reasons were, but I don’t think she’s doing all right.”
