Chicago Bears lose to the Vikings

The Bears almost won it today but falter in the fourth quarter as special teams and the revamped defense could close the deal as they have shown the whole season.

It was a Adrian Peterson day who ran for 103 yards and a field goal by Blair Walsh that gave the Bears their loss after a bye week as time expired in the fourth quarter.

To make matters worse Eddie Royal and Matt Forte both go out with injuries and will be evaluated tomorrow to see how bad their injuries are. Matt has an injury to his knee and Eddie also goes down with an apparent knee injury.

The Bears fall to 2-5 for the year and probably will not win another game till they do something different with their special teams and defense which seems to be holding the team back.

The offense has looked much better since Jay Cutler has come back and Jay even plowed into the end zone head first for a touchdown which I am sure that he will be yelled at for doing that but he did score Cutler completed 22 of 33 passes for 211 yards for Chicago. He also threw for a touchdown, giving him 137 as a Bear and tying Sid Luckman’s club record.

The Vikings came back with a score of a punt return for a touchdown and even tied the game up in the end.

No matter how you look at it the Bears only had one phase show up and that was the offense, they did everything they could to keep them in the game but the defense faltered in the end.

The Bears next week play Monday night against the Chargers if they figure out way to shore up the defense and the special teams they might have a chance to win.
