UFC 209 added a wmma bout to its card after all with undefeated Cynthia Calvillo 3-0 taking on Amanda Cooper 2-2 in Las Vegas, Nevada March 4th.
The card main event features Woodley vs. Thompson 2 while the women will be on the prelims and be the first up to start the card off and there is no other word if there would be any other additions at this time.
Both fighters are in the strawweight division with Amanda being a veteran of the UFC and Cynthia making her promotional debut.
Cynthia fought earlier this year against Montana Stewart took that fight to the 3rd round and won by TKO. So far she remains undefeated made her promotional debut earlier last year and also remained undefeated in her amateur career starting out in 2012.
Amanda coming off a win against Anna Elmose at UFC Fight Night back in December is looking to keep that win streak going in 2017. She’s 1-1 with the UFC and 2-2 overall hoping to make a mark in the strawweight division to become a contender for the title one day.
