Felice Herrig moves to 12-6 and comes back to life with a huge win over the unbeaten Alexa Grasso who moves to 9-1 and takes her first loss of her career.
Felice was coming in as the underdog for this fight and many thought she was not ready to come back. She took down the undefeated fighter with her technical skill in boxing and stalked Alexa for all three rounds.
Alexa looked flat footed for most the fight and looked timid to come out and out box Felice which she is good for from her earlier wins in her undefeated career. This is the first time that Alexa looked confused or her game plan did not work as planned which left her with many openings that Felice took advantage of to dominate most of the fight. Although Alexa’s stats looked better than Felice’s she just could not overcome the take downs and the dominating control that Felice put in.
Both fighters have a little ways to go to become a contender for the title and are looking forward to their next fight in the coming future.

Rnd 1
no touch of gloves, both come out with kicks, Felice comes out stalking alexa, alexa just waits for her, jabs by felice connecting, jabs missed by alexa, kick to the body by alexa, heel hook by alexa when alexa falls and felice could not take advantage, both fighters just missing with punches, felice finally lands with a punch, more combo’s landing by felice, but more strikes are landing by alexa, nice finish to round 1 with a flurry of punches by both fighters to end the round.

Rnd 2
big right hand by herrig, alexa handles it, kicks to the body by alexa, kick to the lead leg by alexa, alexa is waiting for a perfect shot and felice is taking advantage, alexa coming off slow in rnd 2, felice is taking advantage of alexa’s game plan, alexa seems to be scared to come inside of felice, felice is getting more punches on the inside, felice gets control now reverse by alexa and then a takedown by felice.

Rnd 3
felice comes out with legs and combo’s, alexa looking for a way in, now alexa is chasing felice for a takedown or knockout, jabs are just knocking back alexa, takedwon by felice and the alexa reverses and gets back up, felice just stalking alexa and getting all punches through, felice goes for takedown and alexa sprawls, the feed went out again and missed some of the fight so not sure what happened, but the round ended with a flurry of punches by both fighters goin to the bell and had to be seperated by the ref.
