LFA champion and Invicta fighter Andrea Lee was all set to make her UFC début next week at UFC 216, but now she’ll have to wait a full 6 months due to a failed 2016 drug test.
she failed a drug test back in 2016 for diuretics, stemming from a pre-fight screening for Invicta FC 16, where Lee lost to Sarah D’ALelio.
Lee posted many times on Facebook that she was not cheating and had a reason for the failed drug test, but if you get caught for cheating you will always be a suspect hence the 6 month wait.
The UFC should have known about the failed drug test due to she was popped at Invicta FC, with the signing of Lee, the UFC will have to watch its back like they do with Cyborg. Once a fighter gets caught for cheating they will always find ways to cheat again, it always happens no matter who the fighter is.
