Invicta FC 15 to be held in California on Jan 16th

According to a Invicta FC Facebook post looks like southern California will be invaded by some of the best female fighters in the world that will take place January 16th of the new year.

So all the request of having a east coast fight card is still in the wind and when they asked a few months back where they would like the next card to be at many called for Colorado, Chicago, Cincinnati (ME) or a city along the east coast, hopefully there is a good explanation for not having a fight card out east and it will be asked before the next fight card or after the fight card.

Headlining the event will be Invicta Strawweight champion Lívia Renata Souza – Lívinha defending her belt for the first time against the undefeated DeAnna Bennett!

Also announced for the event will be a highly anticipated bantamweight match-up between Raquel Pa’aluhi and Irene Aldana! A second strawweight match-up is set with recently signed Angela “Overkill” Hill facing Jodie Esquibel. Atomweight Lisa “Ward” Ellis will take on rising star Amber “The Bully” Brown.

Also set for the upcoming year per Shannon is that there will be a Flyweight tournament which could help build up to a shot at the title against Barb Honchak who we have not seen in the cage since last November hopefully we will see her back in the cage soon. Updated; as Invicta announced that there will be a new Interim Flyweight Champion on this card we will find out more details on this as soon as they come in.
