Invicta FC 16 March 11th in Las Vegas 125 lb Tournament to be held
According to the Invicta podcast Shannon revealed that IFC 16 will be held in Las Vegas, another snub for the east coast, on March 11, 2016.
They are looking to book Stephanie Eggink who is coming back maternity leave and have Alexa Grasso back in the cage more fighters will be added in the coming weeks.
They are working on a 125lb tournament since Barb Honchak has not been able to defend her title due to moving to the Northwest, having a injury in which she needed to recover from, changing gyms and according to Knapp it takes time to move to a new gym and get back on your feet.
Barb told Shannon that she would welcome a interim Bantamweight Champion till she can get back on her feet. That’s why Shannon is putting the tournament bracket together and will release it sometime after the new year.
