Liz Carmouche gets a decision win against a great opponent Lauren Murphy with many calling it controversial.
Many fans, media, wmma experts felt Lauren won the fight and disagreed with what judges decided in the match.
Liz who is on a two loss streak by way of unanimous decision herself against Davis and Tate the past two years. She is now 2-3 with the UFC that puts her back in contention to fight a few more times and hoping to get another shot at Ronda one day which has been her goal since she lost to her.
I know Lauren is upset by the decision and cannot take the loss at all and thinks this is unacceptable but what she fails to realize that whatever the outcome the judges decided the fight and she lost.
I have said many times in articles my radio shows and practically all over social media you cannot, again “YOU CANNOT LEAVE IT IN THE JUDGES HANDS” if you want to win a fight “FINISH THE FIGHT” before a judge can decide the outcome.
Many times over we have heard from fighters disgusted with the outcome of decisions fights and many times they go on this rant on their social media declaring they did everything possible to win each round or felt they won this round or won that round. Fight is over and its time to move on.
A statement was posted in the Women’sMMA group and some feedback was posted a few fighters agreed with never leave it in the judges hands and a fighter went on to say even tho she was the queen of close decisions and lost them that she did everything possible and thought to herself I need to work harder next time.
Liz won the fight and she moves on to her future fight. Lauren should figure out what she did wrong or ask what she did wrong from a fresh perspective and work on it.
Congrats on Liz winning her fight and cannot wait to see who she fights next in the UFC.
