Smash and Bash: Daily Ramblings from TUF20 Tryouts in Vegas!

SportsGeeks is happy to announce onset of TUF20 coverage beginning tomorrow. Avril “Smash” Murphy, of Ireland, will be joining her best friend Aisling “The Bash” Daly in Las Vegas as Aisling competes in The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 tryouts. Avril has agreed to take our faithful viewership along for the ride through daily blogs, videos, interviews, and other fun stuff.

These two fine ladies depart Ireland bound for London at 9am in the morning and will catch a 5pm flight from Heathrow to Las Vegas. Approximately a 10-hour flight, Smash and Bash should arrive safely in Sin City at The Palace Station Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, sometime Tuesday morning LV time (barring any unforeseen delays for weather, mechanical, or a stop in Canada for a shot of whiskey).

If you’re wondering how British Airways intends to make a path, here is a brief description:

“A flight from London Heathrow to Las Vegan McCarran Airport will turn north and fly towards Blackpool, then over the Isle of Man, then over the northern edge of Northern Ireland, then the plane will pass just south of Iceland and over the tip of Greenland, then the flight will finally head southwest over northern Canada, the northern states of the USA and into Las Vegas.”

Well, maybe that wasn’t so brief, but you get the idea. We can’t wait for our first Smash and Bash submission and are hoping for a little snippet from Heathrow in the morning….Stay tuned!
