Tecia Torres was not spectacular in the fight with Angela Hill but she delivered a win and that what counts. She is still undefeated with (6-0) record and is looking for a title shot soon.
Both fighters tried their best to knock each other out but it came down to a ground game that won it for Tecia which looked like frustrated Hill in the last two rounds. Hill was doing everything to strike Tecia but was off in her strikes and she struggled with stamina.
Mexico is over 7000 feet above sea level and it looked like it took its toll on both fighters, more on Hill than on Tecia. Hill was struggling in rounds 2 and 3 and you could see it, and Hill even had the reach advantage and just could not connect.
Hill falls to (2-1) and is 1-1 in the UFC while Tecia goes 2-0 in the UFC.
