1. If you had a super power what would it be? Super fast healing ability – I think most fighters would go for that one!
2. Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island? My little brother would probably be quite useful. He’s read pretty much every survival guide going. Or maybe some of my big training partners, for wrestling tigers!
3. What DVD could you watch over and over? I used to watch the first X-Men movie repeatedly as a teenager, but I don’t really have time to be obsessive about books and movies any more.
4. If you won $1,000,000, what’s the first thing you’d buy? I’m considering buying a house at the moment, so it would make that easier. Some more small training partners would also be nice.
5. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? It would be great to train in the US for a few years, but I think I’d probably always come back to southern England.
6. What’s the last thing you ate? Pretty boring – my breakfast at the moment tends to be porridge, with some whey protein and greek yogurt and a latte. I’m just about to have a protein cookie as a snack, as I’m too hungry to wait for lunch.
7. At which store would you like to max-out a credit card? Shopping doesn’t really interest me, so somewhere where I could buy lots of pairs of leggings or I’d hand it over to my sister so she could buy a few Chanel handbags.
8. Who’s your fave sports team? I could make my dad really happy by saying Everton football club, but actually all his children are a great disappointment to him, as none of us are remotely interested in team sports.
9. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Purple!
10. What’s your fave song/artist right now? I like the song ‘I Dare You’ by Shinedown. I don’t know much about the band, but I used it as entrance music for my last fight.
11. What restaurant would you choose for date night? Anywhere that sold authentic Italian wood fired pizzas, preferably with goat’s cheese on. I’ve been in love with good quality pizza ever since I went on holiday to Rome.
12. What’s the farthest you’ve been from home? I’ve been training in Thailand fairly regularly for the last few years, but California looks to be roughly the same distance from the UK as well, although it’s been about 10 years since I’ve visited America.
13. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you choose? I’m quite possibly going to get beaten up for this one, but one of my team mates is a huge fan of old style kickboxing, as some people might be able to tell by his fight name, ‘The Dragon’. It’d be quite cool to meet one of his idols, Curtis Bush, and tell the guy to stop passing on outdated training advice… 😀
