UFC on FOX 20 headliner Valentina Shevchenko and her coach were present as an armed robbery took place in Peru.
In a report from earlier today from Peruvian outlet RPP, a shootout took place late last night in the Chorillos district in Lima, Peru in a robbery gone sideways.
The incident took place at a local chicken shop as the robbers had ordered the employees to empty out their registers and for patrons to empty their wallets, striking anyone that resisted. UFC fighter Valentina Shevchenko was present, as was her coach Pavel Fedotov, who was armed and opened fire on the robbers as they were fleeing the scene, striking and killing one of them in the process. The other two escaped successfully with an around S/5,000 in Peruvian soles, estimated to be just under $1,500 in US currency…
Valentina is to take on former Bantamweight champ Holly Holm on July 23rd, many hope that this will not affect this fight coming up.
