Joe Maddon felt a lot better about his bullpen Tuesday night. The Cubs had blown a save in three straight games against the Pirates over the weekend, and couldn’t stop the Brewers on Monday, but all was well in a 9-7 victory over Milwaukee as five pitchers combined for 5 1/3 innings of relief to help end a four-game losing streak.
