A report coming out from combate.com is stating that this fight is confirmed, this already stacked card will be on Dec 12th with the main event being Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor.

Miesha who is on a 4-0 winning streak since April of last year and just defeated Jessica Eye by decision was thought to be next in line to fight Ronda Rousey but was passed up by Holly Holm who will take on Ronda in Australia. Miesha has never fought Amanda this will be their first time going against each other. Miesha is looking for another win to see if she will get another shot at Ronda since Dana has stated that “We’ve seen Miesha and Ronda Before” and that means more than likely that Dana does not want another fight that clearly we will see Ronda win, even though Miesha is the one of the fighters that got her out of the first round.

Amanda who is coming off a fresh win against Sara McMann with rear naked choke wants to be the buster in Miesha closet and is looking good since her loss against Cat Zingano and has gone 2-0 since then with both fights not even getting out of the first round which looks a lot better than what Miesha is bringing to the table. Nunes does have a fault with coming up unexplained training accidents and has been known to withdrawal from fights in the past. Hopefully when called upon to take on Rousey it will be a clean training camp.

UFC 194 is headlined by McGregor and Aldo so the fight between Tate and Nunes will be overshadowed by that which make it hard to see if this fight will make the main card if at all, in the past Miesha has been a big draw hopefully it will be the first first fight on the main card.

Good luck to both fighters on their upcoming training camps and fight.
