Amanda Nunes showed how she should be the next contender for Ronda Rousey with clobbering and ground game that put Sara McMann down for the third time in her career.
McMann looked sloppy again in her third loss since coming to the UFC undefeated, overall in the UFC she goes 2-3 and will be getting a pink slip within coming weeks if the UFC keeps up tradition with losing fighters or fighters that don’t win on a regular basis.
McMann now (8-3) seems to be training only for one style and that’s something everyone has been trying to figure what it is, because it is not working for her when she is ready to fight. You can see the holes in her game plan that helped Amanda win that fight, she looked slow and it just took one punch to knock her to the ground and Amanda capitalized on it to go for the rear naked choke which you would think that Sara could defend since she is supposed to be this great wrestler and hell she took the silver medal in the Olympics for free style wrestling.
Hopefully McMann will find a better Gym and Coach to see if she can make a comeback or will she just head home to regional promotions.
Amanda moves to 11-4 overall and will probably move up in the rankings with that impressive win and with that hopes to move into contention for a shot at Ronda in the coming months.
