Flyweight Vanessa Porto and Invicta FC agree to long-term contract agreement  Little Falls, NJ-

Vanessa Porto has agreed to a long-term contract with Invicta FC. After winning her last fight against Zolla Frausto Gurgel, at Invicta FC 7, the black belt jiu-jitsu specialist improved her career record to 16-6 and 2-2 in Invicta FC. It was confirmed today by MMAU Management that the deal is finalized and both parties are very happy.

Originally from Brazil, Porto splits her time training at The MMA University in NJ and back home in Brazil. She looks to get back into the Invicta cage by late spring.

“I’m very happy to sign this long-term deal with Invicta. They have treated me very well in the past and I want to make Invicta my home for a long time to come. I’m very grateful to have an opportunity to prove myself in the best women’s MMA organization in the world. Hopefully I’ll get my chance at the Invicta belt soon,” said Porto.

Porto has contributed to the growing excitement of women’s mixed martial arts, As 13 of her 16 wins have come via a finish. Vanessa is currently ranked 2nd in the world at 125lbs. She has also faced some of the premiere talent in women’s MMA including Invicta FC Featherweight champion Cristiane”Cyborg” Justino and Invicta FC Flyweight champion Barb Honchak.
