Rain delayed the ceremony nearly two hours — which seemed fitting since the Cubs took advantage of a rain delay in Game 7 to regroup and beat the Indians — but once it stopped, they raised banners to commemorate winning the 2016 National League pennant and the World Series, as well as the 1907 and ’08 World Series.
