Party on, Cubs: Rings to come before LA tilt

After waiting more than a century to win a World Series, it probably shouldn’t be a surprise that the Chicago Cubs decided to spread the celebration of their 2016 title over two games. Two days after raising the organization’s first championship banner since 1908 before the home opener, the Cubs will receive their World Series rings before Wednesday’s game with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
