Ronda Rousey Covers ESPN Magazine and Talks About Last Fight against Holly Holm
UFC star Ronda Rousey will be featured on the cover of ESPN The Magazine’s latest issue, and some of her comments from a revealing interview have surfaced.
Per People’s Tierney McAfee, Rousey spoke about her first professional loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 and gave insight into her recovery process.
“It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact,” said Rousey, who added she felt “really fucking sad” after being knocked out by Holm on November 15 at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
Ronda also talked about her future in the interview, saying, “Maybe I can’t do it all before my prime, before my body is done. But fuck it, maybe I can.”
That’s how champions are born they have this pride that they do not want to give up and going out with all glory its what she wants.
The fight left Ronda a little banged up and will take some time for her to heal her lip as the stitches have yet to dissolve and a few of her teeth are not stable in her mouth.
It has been said the Ronda will get her shot against Holly Holm by Dana White as soon as she is all healed up and gets back to training.
That made a lot of people upset but I am sure Ronda wants that shot to see if she can get that title back before, like she has said in the past, her body wears out.
