Former UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate was looking to get back on track at UFC 205 against Raquel Pennington. Tate was coming off losing her title to Amanda Nunes at UFC 200 this past July, but was hopeful to get another shot at the title with a win at Madison Square Garden.
Pennington was able to dominate Tate from bell to bell, earning a unanimous decision victory this past Saturday night in New York. Immediately following the fight, Miesha shocked the fans by retiring from the sport during her post fight interview.
Now only a few days removed from UFC 205, a poster on Reddit spotted Tate meeting with UFC boss Dana White at a restaurant, possibly discussing her future role with the promotion. But what could it be? Will Dana get her back in the cage or make her an offer to come work at the UFC offices? Stay tuned!
