Former UFC bantamweight champion Miesha “Cupcake” Tate shocked the world on Saturday night when she retired inside Madison Square Garden.
The former Strikeforce and UFC champion dropped her main card bout to Raquel Pennington, a former fighter on Miesha Tate’s “Team Tate” during her time as coach on The Ultimate Fighter reality T.V. show.
Miesha did not do any post-fight media, outside of her public retirement speech inside the cage, and she has been silent on all social media channels. Well, almost all.
