Ted Shapiro, a 19-year-old cancer survivor, had a role to play at Game 4 of the World Series on Saturday: appearing on the field before the sixth inning for baseball’s Stand Up to Cancer moment, alongside AJ Smallwood, 17, of Flowery Branch, Ga.
