Tiffany “Time Bomb” Van Soest Signs with Glory and Invicta FC
On Thursday in joint announcements Tiffany Van Soest signed with Invicta F and Glory Kickboxing to compete in mixed martial arts and kickboxing simultaneously.
She has not made her pro debut in MMA as of yet, but she is a adorned muay-thai and Shorin-ryu karate practitioner, previously holding the WBC Muay-thai International Super Bantamweight Championship, Lion Fight Promotions Super Bantamweight Championship, and Lion Fight Promotions Featherweight Championship.
Tiffany who began her career at the age of 18 winning multiple fights in Muay-Thai as an amateur then turning pro in 2011 in which she had a stellar career achieving multiples titles and fights holding pro record 12-2-1 in kickboxing.
She does have a few amateur mma fights under her belt but mostly stuck to kickboxing till the opportunity rose to sign with two different promotions.
Tiffany has had some problems in the past with her last promotion on not getting paid for the last fight she was in, so it was rewarding that she get signed with a promotion that can pay her what she is worth and not having to worry about how to live from fight to fight.
Kickboxing will be first on the docket for Van Soest, making her organizational debut at GLORY 30 SuperFight Series, which streams live on UFC FIGHT PASS on Saturday, May 13. On the five-fight card she will take on Jeri “Fists of Fury” Sitzes in a rematch of their Mauy Thai bout in 2012.
Tiffany will make her promotional and professional debut for Invicta FC in the Strawweight division sometime in the summer, no opponent or fight card has been announced as of yet.
Congrats to Tiffany for her making the big time and hope to see her do well in both promotions. Good Luck and God Speed.
