Two Pro Fighters Retire after Their Fights
Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger and Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc both retired after their fights this past week.
Jocelyn ends her pro career at 6-4 and amateur 3-2 respectively. She started her career in the ammy ranks with the Tuff-N-Uff promotion back in 2010 from there she made her way up to making her pro debut with Invicta FC in 2012 winning by decision. Her biggest accomplishment was making the roster for the UFC making her debut in 2015 against Tecia Torres but losing by decision and then ultimately losing the next two leaving her career with a loss but fighting for the UFC which is the highest honor of any fighter which leaves you at the proudest moment of your life which I hope Jocelyn feels.
Good Luck Jocelyn on your next career and safe travels.
Nicdali ends her pro career at 9-10 losing her last fight against Lisbeth Silva with the Combate Americas promotion. Her career started back in 2006 with ACF promotion and won with at TKO. She made her through many regional promotions till landed with Invicta FC in their first promotion making her promotional debut in 2012. She took a loss by Amy Davis with a kimura and leaves the promotion going 1-3 before hitting Combate Americas to make a comeback.
Good Luck Nicdali on your next career and safe travels.
