Valentina Shevchenko to take on Vet Amanda Nunes at UFC 196
Shevchenko who is 12-1 overall as a pro made her UFC debut and took a split decision against Sarah Kaufman. The only loss in her career was against Liz Carmouche back in 2010, although active in other mma related sports she took a break from MMA with not fighting for 2 years. Upon coming back into MMA she has been on a tear going 4-0 and looking for more wins in 2016.
Amanda who is 11-4 over all also has a good share of wins with UFC going 4-1 with a loss against Cat Zingano by TKO but had an impressive win against Sara McMann submitting her with a rear naked choke that left many to wonder where does she go from here could she be next inline to take on champ Holly Holm.
UFC 196 will be headlined by a dual main event in Rafael dos Anjos vs. Conor McGregor and Holly Holm vs. Miesha Tate.
