Holly Holm Stays Undefeated at LegacyFC 24 defeating Nikki Knudsen

Holly Holm is making a name for herself in the cage with another win against Nikki Knudsen tonight at LegacyFC –24 by getting a TKO (Punches&Kicks) and possibly breaking a few ribs of Knudsen.

The fight started out great with Holly doing what she has always done in the cage by kicking and throwing those short jabs that connected just about every time, but hold the phone Knudsen was no slouch and took the punishment by just smiling back at Holly. This seemed to make Holly a little upset that she could not get the knockout she wanted in the first round and Knudsen just hung there as best as she could. In the scoring card of the first round it went to Holly 10-9 and official outcome of the fight is Holly Holm Defeats Nikki Knudsen by TKO (Punches & Kicks) 1:18 of Rnd 2.

I have to say that both fighters did very well in the cage tonight and Holly Holm is the future of Women’s Mixed Martial Arts in the 135lb division. I keep wondering if any of the other fighters especially Ronda Rousey is checking this young lady out.

I believe that Nikki Knudsen who falls to 2-2 in her pro career should also be looked at by matchmakers for their promotion unless LegacyFC thinks they will keep Nikki around for another match someday. You have to give Nikki credit coming into the fight on short notice with Holly and going to the second round with her, she should be able to find a home in a promotion somewhere like InvictaFC or with XFC if they are scouting talent.

Holly Holm is now 5-0 as a professional wmma fighter and with that said she should have no problem finding a job with UFC if Dana White was smart. This could be a super-fight between Ronda and Holly if they really think about; because I am sure Ronda will take care of Meisha in December and heck she needs to fight again soon.
